Insurance Technology Forums Ltd manages professional development events (forums and briefings) for senior technology professionals and decision-makers who work for Lloyd’s affiliates (insurers, underwriters, agents and brokers), plus business process organisations, technology and communications consultancies, and technology service providers in the Lloyd’s of London and wider City insurance community.
Our events are free-to-enter for delegates and designed to bring delegates up-to-date with technology innovations and best-practices specifically relating to the insurance industry.
At Insurance Technology Forums (ITF) we are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of all information concerning our subscribers, contributors, site visitors and users.
This privacy policy covers the information we collect when you visit our website, respond to our emails or attend our events.

Our privacy policy describes your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May 2018. Any changes to our policy will be notified on our website www.InTechForums.com, where any changes are of a material nature affecting your rights, we will notify you by email.

This information allows us to send you news and invitations to professional events which we believe will be of interest and value to you. Where you no longer wish to hear from us, please email brian@InTechFoums.com with your request for removal from our data store and we will delete your details. This process may take up to 14 working days and you will receive confirmation of our actions. Where, as a new subscriber, you wish to be included in our data store, simply email brian@InTechForums.com providing your full name, email address for all correspondence, job title and employer.
Where the information we hold about you changes (e.g. a change of employment), please email brian@inTechForums.com with your new details.
How we use your information
We use the above information in a number of ways, as defined below:
We use your contact details (email address) to:
- send you invitations to professional development events (forums and briefings) which we believe are of genuine interest to you. The events are held at Lloyd’s of London and other central City locations.
- send you confirmations of your event invitation acceptances, and details of attendance at such events (e.g. times, dates, locations, security procedures, etc).
- communicate with you in response to your queries or event enquiries.
- communicate with you to advise of alterations to event times, dates, durations or locations.
We use your job title and employer details to assess which events are of most relevance to you. This allows us to issue invitations accurately.
We do not share your information
Insurance Technology Forums Ltd does not share ANY of your information (name, job title, email address, employer) with ANY organisation other than event hosts/sponsors, unless this is requested by you or required by an authorised government, legal or security organisation.
Unsubscribing from ITF
If you wish to delete your records from our database and receive no further information about our professional events, contact our data controller Brian Groves (email brian@InTechForums.com) and request deletion.
On receipt of your request for removal from our database, we will make every effort to complete the removal within 14 working days from the date of receipt.
