Gary is well recognised in the Blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology arena, with particular expertise in the commercial insurance and legal sectors.  He worked for Chaucer Syndicates for six years and subsequently on the LM TOM programme, exploring emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology.  He provides education, advisory and consultancy services through Distlytics and provides blockchain, cryptocurrency and ICO education to insurance companies and the general public. He is a technical consultant to the ClydeCode Consultancy practice formed by international law firm Clyde & Co and is an advisor to Blocksure, a UK-based InsurTech startup implementing blockchain in the insurance industry. 

Gary will set the scene for the session by exploring the challenges the insurance market is facing and the technologies it is putting into place to meet the challenges.
